Hutchinson Trinity’s Isaiah Sutertan – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by Advanced Physical Therapy

In a recent interview with VYPE Trinity Catholic’s Isaiah Sutertan shared “my favorite part of being on the Trinity Catholic football team is being able to build relationships with my teammates and coaches. Our program is like a family and it doesn’t matter if you’re a freshman or a senior. Win or lose, I take pride in representing Trinity on the field.”

A pride some might say Sutertan learned from his cousin “Isaac”, who he credits for having made a significant impact on him. Telling VYPE “I was lucky to be able to play with him my freshman and his senior year in football. The way he carried himself and how much he cared about the team influenced my approach to the sport and the team.”

Sutertan expressed his goals for the year as “continuing to make the honor roll and try to be a more active student leader. For sports my goal is to be a good leader and to strive to be a disciplined player. My overall goal this year as a senior is to make the most of my final year at Trinity.”

At Trinity, Sutertan is also a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council as well as the “newly formed peer ministry group called Kairos.” Recalling “I was asked by my school chaplain and principal to join. Kairos is an opportunity to grow in my faith and to help my fellow students grow in theirs.”
