Hutchinson’s Chloe Glaser – Bowling Spotlight Presented By The Alley

By Matt Browning

Chloe Glaser exceeded any of her preseason expectations on the Hutchinson High School bowling team.

In 2022, Glaser had a pin average of 170 and this season, she improved that number to 176.

“Overall my season was a lot more pleasing than I thought it was going to be,” Glaser said. “I got quite a few top scores overall and was happy with the results a lot of times. I got a lot better form this season.”

Glaser’s best memory was qualifying for the state tournament this season, where she finished 11th.

“Advancing to state and competing in the competition there was definitely my most outstanding memory,” Glaser said. “The environment and people were nice and it surprisingly felt a lot more comfortable than I expected. I did bowl well at state as well.”

Glaser plans to bowl in some tournaments outside of the high school season before she heads off to college in the fall, at perhaps Fort Hays State.

“If I were to choose a career it would definitely be heavily influenced by art or teaching art to some degree,” Glaser said.
