VYPE sat down with Buhler’s Track coach Willie Adkins who says the girls on this team are “very involved in their community and committed to what they do – and they excel at it.”
Among this team of ladies you will find members of the Band, Choir, Debate Team, and FFA. Not only do they devote their time and energy to their school but according to Coach Adkins some of the things he finds most impressive about these girls is their “toughness, determination, and grit.”
Adkins also let us in on what he considers to be a high point for the team this year. Recalling that they were “high achievers” at their league meet gaining point for the team in unexpected places and showing just how capable they are.
