Nickerson football player Logan Rogers recently completed an interview with VYPE in which he shared “My favorite part about being on this team is the fact that we are such a small community and team that everyone knows everyone and can get along well.”
This season he hopes to “help and lead” the team. Something he’s already making strides at according to a favorite moment he share with us. Saying “The most fun I have had in the past year is definitely during summer weights when we have challenges against one another.” And although everyone on the team offers support to one another when needed Rogers said “A teammate that left the biggest impression on me would be Sam Logan, although we weren’t in the same position group he always pushed everyone to their max and brought out smiles on bad days for everyone.”
On occasion Rogers and his teammates participate in service projects “helping people in need with household projects.” As well as Rogers endeavors with other sports and his time with the media club he is dedicated to positively representing the Nickerson community.
