Haven football player Van Loop told VYPE in a recent interview that his goals for the upcoming season are “to be first team all league, first team all district and honorable mention all state. Outside of football I want to place at powerlifting state.”
To accomplish this Loop will be putting in a lot of work alongside his teammates. According to Loop, his favorite part of being on the Haven football team is “how we have fun and push each other.” Loop experienced this with his cousin “Keaton” who he named as the teammate who has impacted him the most. Telling VYPE “The teammate who left the biggest impression on me was my cousin Keaton because of how good he was and how much he lifted.”
In all the years Loop has dedicated to his athletic endeavors his favorite moment has been “my first game on varsity and just going out there and doing well and having fun with my teammates.” Of course, he has also put in time towards other efforts away from the field. Sharing “I have helped out with our schools make a difference day and the football team goes and helps people who need help with anything.”
