Hutchinson Trinity is lucky to have junior Addison Crockett on the softball field. Crockett as a sophomore, was named second team as an infielder, but this year Crockett has set a goal to be named first team in the HOA League and beat the school homerun record.
During the offseason, Crockett actively plays with her club team call Legends Elite. During the summer months, Crockett’s club team plays a minimum of six tournaments and in the fall two to three tournaments. Three times a week, Crockett works on hitting drills throughout the year.
Crockett has a lot to brag about on the softball field, but she humbly gives God the glory for her gifts and talent. Some of her numbers include a fielding average of .937 with 69 put outs. Her batting average is .522 with seven home runs. Crockett is undeniably talented on the softball field, but she also shared how her hard work can be seen in her progress she has made over the years.
Although Crockett has not officially decided on a college yet, she knows she wants to continue her career in softball and major in finance. Before college, Crockett still has one more season with Hutch Trinity and wants to beat her own homerun record next year. She is also a valuable member of the team for any coach because she wants to play where she will be needed. Off the softball field, Crockett also is a cheerleader, plays volleyball, in a member of Key Club, National Honor Society, and Campus Ministry.
