Buhler athlete Marlie Cooper told VYPE in a recent interview “my favorite part about being on the golf team is you get to go and eat lunch and dinner with your team and you also get to be able to meet some new people over the years and play with them over the golf season”.
So far this year Cooper has been working toward achieving a state title for golf. Although the thing she has enjoyed most of all was her trip to Mexico. Sharing “The most fun that I have had is when I went to Mexico with my family and hung out with my little cousins”.
Cooper express gratitude toward teammate America Holiday stating “the teammate that has left a big impression on me is America Holiday because she made golf so fun and included me when I was the younger person on the team, and still to this day we are talking and she comes and visits me when she can”.
Away from the game Cooper would like to take a vacation “to Table Rock Lake because I would get to go on the boat and would be able to surf behind it. Someone that I would bring is my best friend Harlie Terrell because we always have the most fun when we go places. We would go driving around Branson and shop when it got dark and also play putt-putt”.
