Hutchinson athlete Keagun Teeter is focused on overcoming the struggles he faced last year. Specifically, mounting his comeback from an injury he received this winter that led to spinal surgery.
In that time Teeter found joy and peace in the great outdoors something he now says he had the most fun with. Also on that list was being able to travel around the state and discovering his new favorite place – Manhattan.
Teeter, now a member of the track team, which is no small feat given what Teeter has had to overcome set a goal for himself. Teeter wanted to “pick up a new event” which is exactly what he did. Now a competitor in javelin events Teeter is glad to be “coming into a bigger team.”
And although his injury kept him from being able to compete with the wrestling team this past season Teeter looks forward to hitting the mats again next year.
